SINOMACH Leader Inspects Gushi Rural Vitalization E-commerce Training Project
During September 7-9, a delegation headed by SINOMACH Deputy Party Secretary Ding Hongxiang visited Gushi County, Henan Province, a designated county assisted by SINOMACH, and exchanged views with relevant parties of the county, so as to give full impetus to the implementation of all assistance programs for 2022 and contribute to high-quality rural vitalization of the county. Ding was accompanied by SINOMACH Chief Economist and Labor Union Chairman Liu Zuqing, SINOMACH Party Work Department Director Yan Weihong, and CMEC Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager Fang Yanshui.
During the visit, the 3-day “SINOMACH CMEC rural vitalization live stream e-commerce in Gushi” training class undertaken by CMEC was underway. The members of the delegation visited the training class and the e-commerce exhibition hall of Gushi County, and listened to the report on CMEC’s work related to poverty alleviation and rural vitalization since 2018 and the e-commerce training.

Ding recognized the efforts made by CMEC for rural vitalization, spoke highly of the innovative and vivid practical teaching on new media operation and the enthusiastic and strong learning atmosphere created by the trainees, asked to follow up the learning effects of the trainees, enhance the efficiency of the training, increase publicity of SINOMACH’s brands such as “developing agriculture through e-commerce” and sum up experience.

For a long time, CPC CMEC Committee has complied with the decisions and arrangements made by the CPC Central Committee and the CPC SINOMACH Committee, attached great importance to poverty alleviation and assistance for rural vitalization, and fulfilled the social responsibilities of CMEC as a state-owed enterprise directly under the central government. Under the annual overall arrangements of SINOMACH, CMEC tries its best to fulfil the task of assistance to the county, works proactively to tap its own business resources and advantages, explores the establishment of a long-term assistance mechanism, and deepens the assistance work for rural vitalization. It has gradually developed two featured brands of “developing the agriculture through e-commerce” and “assistance through elderly care programs”, and has taken concrete measures to promote the program of “delivering practical services to the people”, benefit the people of the county, and contribute to local economic development and improvement of people’s well-being.
Other participants of the event were responsible persons of the 6th Mechanical Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., which takes a lead in CMEC’s assistance program in Gushi, other relevant subsidiaries of SINOMACH, the rural vitalization office of SINOMACH, the work department of the CPC CMEC Committee, and CMEC Henan branch.
