On July 29th, CMEC Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CMEC Industrial Technology”) was officially unveiled. Wang Bo, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), Chen Jun, Vice General Manager, Wu Lijuan, Chairman of CMEC Industrial Technology, and Zha Xianjun, General Manager, jointly unveiled the new company. The unveiling ceremony was hosted by Chen Jun.

CMEC Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. was established through the restructuring of the former CMEC Engineering Machinery Company and CMEC General Machinery Company. This move is a significant step in implementing the “14th Five-Year Plan” development strategy of CMEC Group, upgrading and standardizing the trade business, and achieving organic integration and scaled operations for similar business sectors.

Zha Xianjun, General Manager of CMEC Industrial Technology, stated that the new company will focus on three strategic dimensions: “forging strong product capabilities, enhancing professional service capabilities, and stimulating new organizational vitality.” The goal is to become a value provider within the industrial chain by offering core products and specialized services. Wu Lijuan, Chairman of CMEC Industrial Technology, emphasized that the strong support from CMEC Group’s leadership and the practical, efficient work of all employees form the “two pillars” for the company’s future success. She also highlighted the “four commitments” from the leadership team: to “champion the strategy, tackle the integration challenges, take on business responsibilities, and unite talent and hearts of the team,” which will drive CMEC Industrial Technology forward.

Wang Bo extended his warm congratulations on the establishment of CMEC Industrial Technology and expressed his sincere expectations for the company’s future. He pointed out that in recent years both CMEC Engineering Machinery and CMEC General Machinery have remained committed to their mission, achieving remarkable success in serving the national new industrialization strategy and advancing the transformation and upgrading of traditional trade businesses. Wang Bo emphasized that the restructuring and upgrading of CMEC Industrial Technology is an inevitable response to the challenges posed by domestic and international market fluctuations, the accelerating industry transformation, and the increasingly fierce competition. He urged CMEC Industrial Technology to firmly grasp the core mission of serving industrialization and new industrialization, focusing on creating value for customers, deeply integrating to release development synergies, leveraging technological innovation to build core competitiveness, maintaining sound operations to solidify the foundation for development, and strengthening team capabilities to enhance operational efficiency.

After the unveiling ceremony, Wang Bo and the delegation visited the newly renovated office area of CMEC Industrial Technology, interacting with the staff and encouraging them to innovate and work together towards the “industrial technology” goal.

More than 40 attendees were present at the event, including mid-level cadres from eight different departments of CMEC Group Headquarters, such as the Comprehensive Management Department, Party Committee Work Department, Human Resources Department, Science and Technology Development Department, Strategic Investment Department, Legal and Risk Management Department, Financial Management Department, and Operational Management Department, as well as all employees of CMEC Industrial Technology.
